Hi, I’m Yaelia (Jah-Eh-Leah) – or “Yali,” as my friends call me. I’m so glad you’re here!
In 2018, I founded The Nail Pot, following my heart and defying the odds. Leaving a steady 9-to-5 career, I dove headfirst into a new industry during an uncertain economy. The Nail Pot began as a boutique nail studio, offering personalized services like manicures, pedicures, foot care, creative nail art, education, and mentorship for both new and experienced nail technicians.
Then the pandemic changed everything. Forced to pause, I found myself at a crossroads: give up or go all in. Fueled by determination and a refusal to quit, I chose to dream bigger. That decision led to the birth of Meliora Beauty Clinique. Here, I can showcase my passion about blending health and beauty to deliver lasting, transformative results.
But what about The Nail Pot? It’s evolved into my personal brand dedicated to education and mentorship for nail technicians, with the mission to elevate the industry and inspire meaningful change.
Why pedicures? They’re my favorite service because they’re equal parts relaxing for clients and humbling for me. It’s a privilege to transform feet, educate clients on proper care, and provide a truly soothing experience.
I’m deeply grateful for the incredible people I’ve met along this journey – clients, mentors, and peers – who inspire me daily.
A little about me: I’m a proud Puerto Rican daughter, fluent in English and Spanish. My furry companion, River, a mischievous schnoodle, is always by my side. When I’m not working, I love reading, dancing, listening to music, exploring nature, and geeking out over The Lord of the Rings, D&D, and other nerdy passions. I also collect postcards from around the world – maybe one day I’ll share my collection with you!
Thank you for being here, and I can’t wait to meet you!
